Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Capacity Building for Local CSOs in Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Madhesh Provinces

Accountability Lab Nepal (ALN) and Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA) invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to participate in a capacity-building program. This program aims to support CSOs in designing and implementing quality education initiatives in their respective areas, contributing to the implementation of the School Education Sector Plan (SESP).

This call is part of the EU-funded project, ACCESS—Accelerating Civil Society’s Role in Securing Education for All in Madhesh, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, that seeks to strengthen the role of civil society in promoting inclusive and equitable education. The ACCESS project is implemented by a consortium of People in Need (PIN), Accountability Lab Nepal (ALN), Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA), and the National Campaign for Education Nepal (NCE Nepal).

Purpose of the Call

To strengthen the organizational and technical capacities of local CSOs to design and implement education initiatives that support the effective implementation of SESP, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and community engagement.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that are registered and operating in the targeted districts and local levels listed below, with demonstrated experience in the education sector.

Districts and Local Levels Covered 

1. Karnali Province

• • Jajarkot: Kuse Rural Municipality, Chhedagad Municipality
  • Salyan: Tribeni Rural Municipality, Sharada Municipality, Siddha Kumakh Rural Municipality

1. Madhesh Province

• • Parsa: Dhobini, Jagarnathpur, Paterwasugauli, Jirabhawani Rural Municipalities
  • Rautahat: Yemunamai Rural Municipality, Baudhimai and Chandrapur Municipalities, Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality

1. Sudurpaschim Province

• • Achham: Turmakhad, Dhakari, Ramaroshan Rural Municipalities
  • Kanchanpur: Laljhadi Rural Municipality, Punarbas Municipality
  • Bajura: Himali and Swami Kartik Khaapar Rural Municipalities

How to Express Interest

Interested organizations are requested to send an email expressing their interest to: nepal@accountabilitylab.org  with the subject line: “Expression of Interest – [Organization Name]”

Please include the following information in a single PDF document:

• 1. Name of the organization
  2. Brief introduction (2–3 paragraphs) of the organization 
  3. Area of work including palikas / years of experience relevant to the program

Next Steps

Upon receiving the expression of interest, the detailed application package (including guidelines and proposal format) will be shared with eligible applicants.
